1. CUSTOM ORDER POLICY
Custom jewelry is the foundation of Thousand Pieces Jewelry Co. Each piece is individually designed and handcrafted specifically for the client.
Key Terms
• Design Deposit: $500 (non-refundable) — covers CAD + 3D print.
• Production Deposit: 75% required to begin production.
• Final Payment: Remaining 25% due before completion or delivery.
• Paid in Full Option: $100 discount offered for full prepayment.
Payment Rules
Internal payment plans are approved only at the seller’s discretion and must be agreed upon in writing before production begins. All payment deadlines must be met without delay or seller will pause production and suspend order until payments resume.
• All payments are non-refundable once submitted.
• Minimum installment: 25% of total order value.
• If 75% is not paid within 30 days, a 10% surcharge applies.
• Orders suspended or inactive for 45+ days require a $250 rebooking fee.
• Reopened orders are subject to current gold market rates.
Quote Validity
Quotes expire after 72 hours and are based on current gold pricing.
Production Timeline
Average turnaround: 2–8 weeks.
Production times may vary depending on design complexity, stone sourcing, and workload.

2. PAYMENT PLANS & FINANCING OPTIONS
Internal Payment Plans
• Payment plans follow the same non-refundable and inactive order policies listed above.
• If a payment lapses more than 15 days, production pauses.
• If unpaid for 45 days, the order closes and a rebooking fee applies.
- Internal payment plans are approved only at the seller’s discretion and must be agreed upon in writing before production begins.
Third-Party Financing
TPJC offers external financing through Shop Pay and other financing platforms, allowing clients to split payments over time while TPJC receives full payment upfront to begin production.
• All financed purchases remain subject to TPJC’s no cancellation and no refund terms once the order is placed.
• Approval, terms, and payment schedules are managed directly by the financing provider.

3. SHIPPING POLICY
Domestic Shipping (U.S.)
• Orders ship via USPS or UPS with full insurance and tracking.
• Signature confirmation required for all jewelry shipments.
• Allow 1–5 business days after production completion for packaging and shipping.
Ready-to-Ship Pieces
• Ship within 2 days to 3 weeks, depending on inventory availability, workload, and seller discretion.
International Shipping
• TPJC ships worldwide. Customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees are the buyer’s responsibility.
• TPJC is not liable for customs delays, clearance holds, or import issues.
Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Packages
• Once a package leaves our facility, liability transfers to the carrier.
• TPJC assists in filing claims but cannot issue refunds for carrier errors, delays, or mishandling.
• Delivery issues must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.

4. GENERAL ORDER POLICY
Order Confirmation
Customers receive a confirmation email after purchase.
Review order details carefully — no modifications can be made once materials or designs are initiated.
Order Cancellations
No cancellations are accepted once an order is placed.
Design and materials are ordered automatically upon purchase, and production begins immediately.
Order Adjustments
Changes to size, metal type, or design after CAD approval may result in additional costs or full production restarts.
Communication
All updates and approvals are handled via email or text.
Failure to respond within 30 days may result in project suspension or rebooking fees.

5. REFUND POLICY
TPJC enforces a strict no-refund policy to protect the integrity of bespoke craftsmanship and material costs.
A. Custom Orders
• All payments, including deposits, are 100% non-refundable.
• No cancellations, refunds, or design changes once production begins.
• Each piece is uniquely made; materials cannot be repurposed or resold.
B. Ready-to-Ship Items
• Returns accepted only within 7 days of delivery if:
• The item is unworn and in original packaging.
• Prior written approval is obtained.
• A 35% restocking fee applies to all approved returns (covers loss from melting and refining returned metal).
• Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
C. Defects or Damage
• Report any craftsmanship defects within 7 days of delivery with photos/videos.
• If confirmed, TPJC may offer repair, replacement, or partial credit (at its discretion).
D. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
By completing payment, you acknowledge that:
• All sales are final.
• Deposits are non-refundable.
• You waive your right to file chargebacks, reversals, or payment disputes.
TPJC maintains full documentation (CAD proofs, invoices, payment receipts) to validate all transactions.

6. REPAIR & WARRANTY POLICY
• 6-month craftsmanship warranty for manufacturing defects only.
• Does not cover normal wear, resizing, impact, or third-party work.
• Post-warranty repairs available for a service fee.

7. LEGAL & COMPLIANCE
• All designs, molds, and imagery are the intellectual property of Thousand Pieces Jewelry Co.
• TPJC reserves the right to refuse service, modify pricing, or update policies without notice.
• All transactions are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.

8. CUSTOMER AGREEMENT CLAUSE
By submitting payment or completing checkout, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the following policies:
